Jack Petchey ‘Outstanding Achiever’ Awards

Last Friday, we awarded four Jack Petchey ‘Outstanding Achiever’ awards. These pupils have all achieved fantastic things both in and out of school, of which we are extremely proud! Congratulations go to:

• Iggy K for his dedication and passion towards the subject of English.  In his spare time, he has read A Level and university philosophy and literature texts, that he has then written essays on at that level.
• Maddy L for going above and beyond in school, as well as training for over 12-hours a week in Acro.  She has been in national, regional and inter-regional competitions where she has been awarded numerous 1st, 2^ndand 3^rd positions awards.  She is also going to perform at Disneyland.
• Ella H for her dedication to Art.  This year, her artwork has been selected to be exhibited at the Royal Academy of Art in London in their Young Artists Summer Show, which is an incredible achievement, and she has also been selected to have her work displayed online on the Royal Academy of Arts website!
• Liam G for being a passionate member of the green team who always attends meetings with great ideas! He is a very polite and friendly student, who works hard to promote the environment, and shows real commitment to protecting the environment both within school and the community.
