Opportunities

We will offer a wide range of opportunities and enrichment activities both alongside and above and beyond the normal curriculum. These include, but are not limited to:

• Trips – Including team building events at the Nuclear Races, Humanities trips in London, and English trips to the Shakespeare’s Globe Theatre
• Visits – From a variety of outside speakers on a wealth of different aspects including PSHE/SMSC, careers guidance and advice, and within the Creative Curriculum
• Range of clubs – A wide range from sporting to performing arts
• Links to the local community – Including volunteering and skill-building opportunities
• Pupil leadership opportunities – To be numerous and developed with the pupils
• Elective Curriculum – A focus during Period 6 each week giving students the opportunity to study topics not part of the ‘normal’ curriculum, for instance; photography, and sports leadership
