Creative Curriculum

Creative Curriculum (CC) is a subject taught in mixed ability groups, all about the world around you. CC gives everyone the chance to be creative, and learn about morals, politics and culture. A wide range of learning techniques are used in CC lessons, including external companies coming into school to give performances and speeches

Purpose of the Creative Curriculum:

  1. To develop students’ independence and individual contributions (Communication and Confidence Skills)
  2. To enable students to work as part of a group and learn how to collaborate (Communication and Confidence Skills)
  3. To teach students how to respond in a creative way to their learning (Creative and Cultural Skills)
  4. To develop students’ awareness in understanding different cultures, people and ideas (Creative and Cultural Skills)
  5. To build students ability to reflect and target set (Self-Awareness)
