Creative Curriculum
Creative Curriculum (CC) is a subject taught in mixed ability groups, all about the world around you. CC gives everyone the chance to be creative, and learn about morals, politics and culture. A wide range of learning techniques are used in CC lessons, including external companies coming into school to give performances and speeches
Purpose of the Creative Curriculum:
- To develop students’ independence and individual contributions (Communication and Confidence Skills)
- To enable students to work as part of a group and learn how to collaborate (Communication and Confidence Skills)
- To teach students how to respond in a creative way to their learning (Creative and Cultural Skills)
- To develop students’ awareness in understanding different cultures, people and ideas (Creative and Cultural Skills)
- To build students ability to reflect and target set (Self-Awareness)
